We cordially invite you to participate in the LEICA SPATIAL BIOLOGY MEETING WITH MICROSCOPY IMAGING WORKSHOP, which will take place on 8-10 April 2024, at the Institute of Pharmacology of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Krakow.
The meeting is dedicated to all researchers who are curious about the latest technologies in the field of optical microscopy.
On the first day, the lecture part will cover Spatial Biology and multiplex imaging, speakers who are Leica Microsystems specialists will present the capabilities of the Cell DIVE system and the use of MATEO and LMD microscopes for complete genetic image analysis.
Day two and day three will be workshop groups where you will be able to learn about Leica Microsystems systems such as THUNDER – a semiconfocal system based on an inverted microscope with a TIRF module, MICA – a system combining a wide-field microscope, a confocal microscope in a housing that enables IN VITRO studies, and STELLARIS 8 DIVE – a multiphoton microscope that enables imaging of thicker structures, tissues and even IN VIVO imaging.
Our hosts will be the Institute of Pharmacology of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and CEPHARES, the Centre for the Development of New Pharmacotherapies for Disorders of the Central Nervous System, established at the Institute of Pharmacology of the Polish Academy of Sciences. CEPHARES is a unique academic centre on a European scale, consolidating the potential of psychopharmacology, neuroscience and medicinal chemistry and is equipped with ultra-modern research instrumentation. The main tasks of CEPHARES include setting new pharmacological directions, conducting interdisciplinary R&D aimed at drug discovery and developing new research methods and technologies. During the workshop, there will be an opportunity to learn more about the CEPHARES offer.
